Dreamers Only
For the dreamers. For the ones who carry a lot and rarely put it down.
It Started As A Hashtag
Dreamers Only became the reason I do any of this. It is for the go-getters, the quiet grinders, and specifically for men who were never given the language for what they are feeling.
I am not a therapist and I am not pretending to be one. I am a man who has been through it, done the work, and decided that staying quiet about it was helping nobody. If reading how I got through mine helps you get through yours, then this page did its job.
The Code
Six things I keep coming back to. Not theory, just what has held up.
Strength isn't silence
The strongest thing I ever did was admit I was not okay, and then actually do something about it.
Healing is not linear
Your inner child, your teenage self, and the man you are now all want different things. Progress can look like going backward for a season.
Rest is productive
Rest your mind, your thoughts, and your spirit. Your timing is your timing, and you cannot miss what is meant for you.
Discipline beats adrenaline
When it becomes boring, you become profitable. That is true in trading, in flying, and in life.
Fatherhood raised the standard
I talk to my daughter like she is my homie, because she is. She gets the version of me that I had to build on purpose.
Become before you impress
I am not here to impress. I am here to become. The recognition can catch up whenever it wants.
If You're Struggling Right Now
Please read this part. If today is heavy, you do not have to carry it by yourself and you do not have to wait until it gets worse to reach out.
Talk to someone trained to help
United States: call or text 988, the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline, available 24 hours a day
Crisis Text Line: text HOME to 741741 to reach a trained counselor
Outside the US: find a local helpline at findahelpline.com
Immediate danger: call your local emergency number right now
I share lived experience, not clinical advice. I am not a licensed therapist and nothing on this page replaces professional care. Asking for help is not weakness. It is the most disciplined move you can make.
Your timing is your timing. You can't miss what is meant for you.
Whatever season you are in, it is not the whole story. Keep going, but be gentle with yourself while you do it.
